At Bell-lloc, we respond to the educational challenges posed by this new all-encompassing paradigm, through the application of the following strategies, with the hope that they impregnate the entire school experience of our students.

At Bell-lloc we are aware that what is important is not that the teachers teach, but that our pupils learn -the most important actors in the learning process are the pupils.This fact means that the teachers take on a great variety of roles during the teaching and learning process, sometimes by directing, although more often than not, by guiding and facilitating students in their individual journeys of discovery.The school also needs to nurture active learning, and to create members of society who are willing and encouraged to learn during their entire lives.

The school places emphasis on reading comprehension, which is the foundation of all learning, and which promotes textual appraisal as a basic activity for the construction of independent and critical thought; culture, history, thought and traditions always form part of our curriculum. Humanistic talent is also reflected in the exercise of charitable activities and in the promotion of a sustainable vision of the world.

Bell-lloc students are taught to be inquiring, persistent and original in their acquirement of the of scientific knowledge.  

In order for pupils to be able to contribute to society with their talents, the school fosters a sense of entrepreneurial and creative spirit, one which is the basis of personal leadership.

The citizens of the future will study, work and live in a global environment. This fact involves the basic need of knowing how to express oneself in foreign languages and the development of a multilingual mentality. Bell-lloc promotes the learning of English and French at an advanced level, and the certification of linguistic learnings through external exams.

In order to facilitate learning, students need to be active subjects in the school, instead of being passive receptors of the information supplied by the teacher. As such, Bell-lloc is committed to using active methodologies, such as cooperative work strategies, learning processes based on problem-solving and the undertaking of interdisciplinary projects.

Evaluation is no longer an activity separate from the school education process, but a crucial phase of learning, one that focuses on identifying areas for improvement in order to generate advances in the acquirement of knowledge. Errors are integrated as a positive source of self-improvement and opportunities for progression.

The citizens of the 21st century will have to know how to put across their own personal brand in a real-world, digital context; they will have to know how to work and communicate through a wide range of technical devices.
