"Romance del enamorado y la muerte" short film


4th of ESO students have been working in class on Romance del enamorado y la muerte, a piece of medieval origin which has been set to music by songwriters like Victor Jara, among others. The aim of the activity is to make a short film based upon it.

The Romance del enamorado y la muerte, a piece of writing dating back to the Middle Ages, set to music by songwriters like Víctor Jara, has been studied by our 4th of ESO students. Their work does not merely include poetry analysis but the making of a short film also. The outcome will reflect the argument of the original story. Such task will allow students to better assimilate the poem’s formal and structural elements.
